Law and Ceremony

Regionally KALACC supports a Community Cultural Development program which offers basic financial and resource assistance to communities engaged in teaching youth their cultural heritage (Law). This involves communities organising events which bring together language groups to practice their songs and ceremonies that are central to their individual identities. They are dynamic mixes of song, dance, history and language uniting people of all ages in celebration. Annually at least 15 projects are supported.
